Article in Trends in Parasitology suggests widening images of malaria to help broaden strategies for control

Biomedical images of malaria promote the use of biomedical solutions for control and elimination but fail to take account of, and therefore control, other versions of malaria that exist in local contexts. Alternative images of malaria can be brought to the fore using the methodology of photovoice that highlight these different versions and help promote additional, locally relevant solutions.
